Fill a purse with love and a woman’s heart with hope…..

This campaign runs from October 1st to 31st. If you would like to take advantage of our drop off location, we would be more than happy to store your donations and collaboratively give it during the specified month of the campaign. Please check for our dates & times of drop off here:

Friday, April 5th 2019 from 8am to 6pm
Friday, May 3rd 2019 from 8am-6pm

This campaign started in Niagara in 2016, and the founders in Hamilton wanted to give back in our own region, and many companies decided to jump on board with items and donations for this worthy cause.
They ask for new and gently used purses to be filled with items that a woman would need; sample and full sized items and goodies like chocolates and snacks.
In 2017, with the help of numerous chapters, 1,259 purses were delivered to shelters, drop in centers and transitional housing in the Hamilton region.

To help reach their goal, you can donate items IN the purses, or items & purses on their own. No purse? No problem! We will fill one for you, so feel free to bring donations of goodies and items listed.  Any help is much appreciated and goes a long way.

  • socks/mitts/gloves/winter hat
  • wallet
  • razors/shaving cream
  • mints/protein bars/snacks
  • make-up/makeup bag
  • hairspray and hair accessories
